Nutriton Network Medical Practitioner Pathway

STEP 1

Nutritional Medicine: The Basic Sciences is a pre-requisite for candidates applying for the Nutrition Network Medical Practitioner Certification. This training will ensure that you have grasped the mechanisms underlying the therapeutic action of therapeutic carbohydrate restriction (TCR).

STEP 2 – BASIC TRAINING

Ketogenic: The Science and Practice of Therapeutic Carbohydrate Restriction (15 Points)

This training will give you an overview of the history, science, context and most common therapeutic applications of therapeutic carbohydrate restriction (TCR).

If you have taken the Professional Training in LCHF/Ketogenic Nutrition and Treatment, this remains valid as part of the eligibility criteria.

STEP 3 – ADVANCED TRAINING

LCHF in Clinical Practice Training (32 Points in Total) which consists of 3 modules:

• Module 1: Evolutionary and Scientific Evidence
• Module 2: LCHF for Practical Medical Applications
• Module 3: Prescribing LCHF in Clinical Practice

OR

Professional Training in LCHF for Dietitians (25 Points), which covers the same topics as LCHF in Clinical Practice, with the addition of tools and techniques specific to dietitians’ practice.

STEP 4 – SPECIALISED ELECTIVE TRAINING

Three Elective modules must be completed:

• Ethics Training (7 Points)
• Diabetes Reversal Training (10 Points)
• Obesity: Risk & Reversal Training (12 Points)
• Neurology: Keto for Migraines, Epilepsy & Alzheimer’s Disease (12 Points)
• Nutritional Paradigms for Treating Chronic Disease (15 Points)
• Advisor Training *
• Sports Nutrition (15 Points)
• Addictive Eating (15 Points)
• Women’s Health Training (15 Points)
• Cancer: A Metabolic Disease (Points, pending)

Please note, that the Advisor Training will count as 1 Elective if it is taken in addition to one other Professional Training listed in Step 1. 

Once you've completed the steps, you would need to apply at our form. 

Once you've completed the form, we will then reach out to with your invitation to the Pathway and instalment plans for the pathway as well. Note that the Pathway itself, comprises of Live sessions and weekly work, for about 16 weeks.
